Who is Emma Butler?

Hello! I am Emma Butler, a 3rd year illustration major at Ringling College of Art and Design. Growing up in SWFL, I love incorporating aspects of nature and its preservation into my work.

Using a combination of color and texture, my goal is to create stories and other media designed towards a younger audience. I am interested in children's literature, pattern design, scientific illustrations, and sculpture; using gouache, oil paint, digital media and 3d media to achieve these goals.

When not working on my art, I also like reading, writing, creating jewelry, and spending time with my family. Creating a balance between my 2d art and my other artistic outlets are very important to me.
